Buttery Avocado Spread

Super versatile and always super tasty.

Erin Falls, registered Dietitian and owner of Planks & Pizza, created this fabulous recipe for Pour Olive using our Vegan-Butter Infused olive oil.

You can sub out the fresh or powdered garlic for a bit of our Garlic Infused olive oil as well.

  • 1 medium avocado
  • 1 tsp Pour Olive's Butter infused olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Pour Olive's Pink Himalayan Salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly minced garlic, roughly one small clove (or garlic powder)


  1. Cut avocado into halves and remove the pit. Make a grid with the flesh of the avocado by using a small knife then scoop out the flesh with a spoon.
  2. Place cubed avocado into a bowl and smash with a fork to your desired consistency.
  3. Add the butter infused olive oil and remaining ingredients, stir to combine well.
  4. Serve with pita chips, veggies or spread across toast for a quick snack. Jazz it up with eggs for breakfast or grilled chicken for lunch!
